Just last weekend on a visit to our son’s house we had some fun with the kitchen play set.
Our youngest, Guiliana, knew that I was hungry. She popped a croissant into the microwave to heat it up for me.
Then, she took it out with her little oven mitten, put it on a plate and told me to be careful because it was too hot. You just can’t make this stuff up, what imaginary fun we had.

Play kitchen play is great fun for kids who love to ‘do what mom/dad do’. Such fun and quite elaborate sets are available today – a big step up from the simple ‘tea party’ times of my childhood. 🙂
