Crayola Crayon Carver was something Bobby just had to have. When My daughter bought it for him he jumped right in and got to work on making gifts for all of his friends.
Of course, the very first crayons that he carved were “Grandma” and “Grandpa”. Now I not only have a crayon that says, grandpa, I have one with my name carved on it also.
Kids can turn their crayons into artwork with this Crayola Crayon Carver. It’s fun and easy to use. The carver comes with 40 tiles. All the letters of the alphabet and some special tiles for added fun. A tray to catch the crayon shavings and a brush to clean off your artwork.
Crayola Crayon Carver:
Here is Bobby carving one of his many creations. First, he chooses a crayon and removes the wrapper using the provided wrapper ripper.
Then he places the tiles to create his phrase. You can have up to nine tiles to create your phrase. Turn on the carver and trace the phrase.
Then he cleans off the crayon with the provided brush. All of the shavings fall into a tray located under the carver. This feature helps keep everything neat and clean.
Tip: Leave the machine turned off and trace your phrase again. This will remove any loose shavings left over and make a nice clean and sharp carve.
I have read some very poor reviews on the crayon carver and some very good ones. But, for us, Bobby gives the Crayola Crayon Craver a thumbs up. He has carved hundreds of crayons without a problem.
